This article explains how the hours in the Time&Attendance module can be rounded. |
Description
There are two options to round the hours.
- Rounding for the calculation of nonconforming Work & Rest hours
- Rounding for the calculation of the Overtime hours
Both rounding functionalities works in the same way. It is each time block that is rounded both on Time Signed-In and Time Signed-Out to either 15 minutes or 30 minutes as per the set up.

This means that you can have different rounding per Overtime and for the Work & Rest hours, but it is important to note that both roundings are done per time block. |
Rounding of Work & Rest Hours
You have the option to either round the hours per 15 minutes or per 30 minutes. This option is found in the APP Administrator Portal under the Time and Attendance Settings
This setting is only affecting the Nonconforming Events grid.
Rounding of Overtime Hours
On each Pay scale Table you can define if the hour blocks should be rounded to 30 minutes. The default is 15 minutes.
This setting is affecting the Time Sheet and the rest of reports.
