Description

This course suits participant who will be administrator administrators of the Time Card module that is used onboard for entering payroll variables.

Objectives

  • Get a basic understanding of what the Time Card module is used for

  • Understand Global Options affecting the Time Card module

  • Understand Organization settings affecting the Time Card module

  • Understand settings on activity level affecting the Time Card module

  • Know how to add Time Card periods

  • Know how to add and maintain Time Card Worktypes Work types in General Codes

  • Know how Worktypes Work types are linked to Entry Codes

  • Know how to define Projects, Vessel Locations, Vessel Cost Groups, Person Cost Places, and Person Cost Groups and how they can be used in the module

  • Know how to filter away items for Work Type, Person Cost Group, and Person Cost Place on pay scale levels

  • Know how the transfer to Payroll functionality works

Prerequisites

We recommend undergoing the Basic Introduction, Basic Training, and Payroll training courses, however, this is not a requirement.
