Persons' pictures can be added

in

to the Photo

datagroup

data group. It is accessed from the main menu Datagroups > Image Modified .

The picture you are adding will be shown in the Photo

datagroup

data group itself and

in

the Personal Details

datagroup

data group > Personal section.


To have access to the Photo

datagroup

data group you should have corresponding rights set for routine 310 Photo in ACC.

Select a way how to add the picture: right-click the screen or choose a command on the Manage ribbon.


A new picture may be loaded from the clipboard or from a file on your PC.

  • The system supports

bmp
  • BMP, png, and jpg files.

  • Use only Latin characters in the file name. Unicode characters are not supported.

    Autozoom - when this mode is set, a photo is resized when you resize the window.
    Copy To Clipboard - copies a picture to the clipboard.
    Paste From Clipboard - pastes it from the clipboard.
    Delete Picture - deletes a picture.
    Load From File - loads a picture from a file.
    Save To File - saves a picture to a file.
    Save Person - saves the person's photo.

There are 2 ways how to store pictures:

  • in the database;

  • or keep them as external files.


It depends on the option set in Global Options > Datagroups > Crew List - Personal Details:

If the Store employee pictures in the database option

is

are set, pictures are kept in the database itself.

If the option is cleared, it is possible to define the path where pictures will be stored.

If the system is set up to keep pictures as external files (second option), after adding a picture, it will be copied into the Pictures folder with a new name PWPxxxxx.BMP, PWPxxxxx.PNG, or PWPxxxxx.JPG, where

xxxxx

XXXX will be replaced by the person's PIN

number

The maximum possible photo size is limited by the setup in Global Options > Enclosed Documents > Maximum Document Size (KB):

Define maximum size. If you try to add a larger photo, system will display corresponding warning message to keep you informed.

  • This limitation also counts any attachment/scan you will try to upload.
