Review the data provided in the dialog and perform the following:
Verify the start and end days in the corresponding Start Date and End Date fields. To edit the fields, click the
symbol and specify the date and time of the scenario. Besides, when specifying the scenario duration, the following options become available:
Whole day. Turn the option on to set the whole day event.
Repeat. Turn the option on if you want to set a recurring event. This opens the Repeat dialog:
When you create a recurring event, you can choose between the Daily, Weekdays, Weekly, Monthly and Yearly options. You can customize these options further:
Daily can be set to every day, every other day, every 3 days, etc.
Weekly can be set to every week, every 2 weeks, every 3 weeks, etc., and to selected days in the week.
Monthly can be set to every 2 months, every 3 months, etc., and set to a particular day: 10th day of the month or 2nd Monday of the month.
Yearly can be set to every year, every 2 years, every 3 years, etc., and to a particular day, like the Monthly option.
In the Scenario drop-down menu, select the scenario to be used.
In the Coordinator field (mandatory), set the coordinator of the drill by selecting the position and the crew member in charge.
In the Aim/Objectives field, define the goal that is to be achieved.
In the Description field, provide a short explanation of the scenario.
In the Summary field, you will see the comment written by the scenario coordinator once the scenario is confirmed.
Set up the drill(s) assigned to the scenario. To do this, in the Drills section, click the View button that corresponds the assigned drill. Once clicked, the dialog appears:
Within the dialog, review the provided data and perform as described below:In the Coordinator field, select the crew member's position as well as a crew member responsible for conducting the drill.
In the Deck field, select the deck affected by the drill.
In the Location field, enter the location where the drill will be held.
In the Description field, provide a short explanation of the drill.
In the Equipment field, enter a set of devices that may be required to conduct the drill.
In the Summary field, you will see the comment written by the scenario coordinator once the scenario is confirmed.
In the Participants section, you can optionally add participants by clicking the Additional button. This opens the Participants dialog where you can select additional crew members:
Click Apply to save the changes. As a result new participants appear in the Participants section.
When completed, click the Save Drill and Save Scenario buttons on the Schedule Scenario dialogs.
As a result, a new timeslot appears in the Calendar:

Before confirming the drill, you have the possibility to do the following:
Add participants to the drill. For this, in the Participants section of the drill form, click Add. The Crew Members Onboard dialog then appears on the screen:
Select the crew members you want to add and click Add to Drill.Write a summary of the conducted drill. In the Summary field of the drill form, enter a brief statement of the main points: how the drill has been conducted and what should be trained more.
When done, click Confirm Drill. You are then notified that the drill has been successfully executed. The drill status changes to Completed:

Once completed, click the Confirm Scenario button. You are then notified that the scenario has been successfully executed. The drill status changes to Completed:

Reject Scenarios
As a coordinator, you can cancel the confirmed scenarios, i.e. revert their status to pending for execution.

Now, proceed as described below:
In the Calendar, pick the confirmed scenario that you want to cancel. On selecting, a pop-up appears:
Click the pop-up to view the details of the scenario:
Click Reject Scenario.
As a result, the affected scenario appears as unconfirmed (the time slot is marked in yellow) in the Calendar:

To set up a drill, first, make sure you are in the Setup section of the module. To do this, use one of the following tips:
Log into in to APP Administrator Portal. On the Home page, click the Onboard Drills tile > Drills
Log intoin to APP Crew Portal and navigate to Onboard Drills > Setup
To add a drill, click NEW DRILL at the top of the grid. This opens the Create new Drill dialog:

On defining a drill, you can now create scenarios that are specific for each vessel in the organization. To do this, use one of the tips below:

To set a scenario, click the New scenario NEW SCENARIO button at the top of the grid. This opens the Create new Scenario dialog:

Within the dialog, fill in the following fields:
Code (mandatory) is an alpha-numeric code of a new scenario.
Name (mandatory) is a scenario name.
Duration (mandatory) stands for the amount of hours the scenario must last.
Aim/Objectives mean the goal to be accomplished.
Description is a short explanation of the scenario being created.
Drills contain a list of all the created drills. Select the drill(s) you want to be included to the current scenario.
Passive, if selected, makes the record unavailable in the list of scenarios.
When done, click

At this stage, select the vessel(s) which you want to assign the scenario to:

Once selected, click NextNEXT.
At the last stage, select the participants who will take part in the drill:

To do this, proceed as described below:
Select the vessel to be affected by clicking the respective tab.
Select the team you want to assign to the drill.
