Work & Rest Rules for 24-hour period

Rule

Description

At least 10 hours of rest

A crew member must have not less than 10 hours registered as Rest worktype for 24-hours period.

Not less 10 hours in 2 rest periods

2 separate periods of Rest must make a total of 10 hours or more.

One rest period lasting 6 hours

At least one of registered Rest periods must be longer or equal to 6 hours.

77 rest hours per week

The total of registered Rest periods from selected date to 7 days earlier (back) must be not less than 77 hours.
E.g. if reported date is May 19, the period to check is May 13 - 19.

Warning

If at least one rule is not complied - a person will have violation mark ('N') in the report.

Hours of rest in any 24 period – the system sums up the 2 longest rest periods for every 'check period' (for the previous 24 hours) and from shows this list chooses the smallest value.

-It helps to see if rule #2 ('Not less 10 hours in 2 rest periods') is violated

Hours of rest in any 7 day – the system sums up rest periods including the current day and 6 days back.
In our example, the first value (74) in this column appears on 8/05. It's the sum of values from Hours of rest for the 24-period column from 8/05 to 2/05.
