Union rates for 2024

Norsk Sjøoffisersforbund (Norwegian Maritime Officers' Association)

  • Active Professionals: Increase to NOK 580 per month (up from NOK 540)

  • Cadets: NOK 42 per month (unchanged)

Additionally, for active professionals with a special agreement at the rate of NOK 475 (2023), the rate will be increased to NOK 485. Please note that no new deductions at this rate should be initiated without written confirmation from the Norwegian Maritime Officers' Association.

Norsk Sjømannsforbund (Norwegian Seafarers' Union)

  • This fee/contribution remains unchanged from 2023.

  • Tariff Agreements with Salary Deductions, including Apprentices:

    • 1.4% with a maximum of NOK 700 per month

Det norske maskinistforbund (Norwegian Engine Officers' Association)

  • Active Professionals: NOK 580.00 per month

  • Junior Members: NOK 45.00 per month

  • Non-Active Members: NOK 175.00 per month

How to update Union fee rates:

  1. Go to organization structure, and click the top concern-level for your organization.

  2. Click on the “rates”-tab, and open the “System 1” pane. This is where the union fees are located.

  3. Click on the relevant rates, and input the new and updated 2024-rates.

  4. Click save.
