Functionality
From ver. 2018.1, we introduce the brand-new module designed to control the onboard crew who have shore-visits during stay in a port but without signing off.
- Only available for companies who have Timeclock Registration service used onboard their vessels.
Responsible officer can Sign Off those that did not return to the ship or Board (Sign On) those who did.
If you defined link to TimeClock in Global Options (see Housekeeping section), the Gangway Control Monitor module becomes available on Modules ribbon.
To have a possibility to work here, proper access rights should be set for routine 840 Gangway Control Monitor in Adonis Control Centre:
Once you opened module, you see the following screen:
- Off board Tab
Tab listing all persons who are registered to be off-board.
It is used to view who is ashore and gives the possibility to correct erroneous registrations and confirm off-signers.
Grid shows not only person's Pin, Name, Position but also Reason (Shore Visit/Signing Off), Location (its exact location according to the setup of your Time Clock) and Time when he passed the gangway. - Refresh - allows you to manually refresh the list.
When open, module is automatically refreshed each 30 seconds to show the actual state of Onboard crew (with Current sea-service activity) who are registered ashore through Gangway Control system.
But can be refreshed on command.
Sign Off - if a person was not able to get onboard but the ship has already left port, person can be signed off. His sea-service activity becomes historical with Date To = current date.
Board - if a person is confirmed onboard but forgot to register through Time Clock panel, administrator can confirm his boarding. He will disappear from the Monitoring list.
