This export tool is used to export persons to PIMS
Preparation
This export is an executable which only task is to produce the PIMS export file and place it on an FTP server. It runs every hour.
Access
To access the utility, the user needs to have Write access to the routine 988 PIMS.

Step-by-Step import
When the file is prepared you are ready to import the file as follows:
- Go to Tools | Import | Competences
- In the dialogue window chose the following
- Filename - Fetch the file from where you have saved it
- Chose the separator used in the file. This can vary depending on the regional settings on the user's computer.
- Chose if you want to skip importing a record if the system finds that the person has an existing competence with same code. Note that this only checks the code and not the date from and expiry date of the record.
- Chose if the file should be Archived after the import.
- Click OK
- In the LogFile in the Dialogue window you can see if the import succeeded or if there were any errors.
