This article explains how to configure the Mask on Name in APM > Personal Details.
In APM under Personal Details we have a field called Name that consists of several elements: First, Last, Middle , Title, etc.
Under the Global Options > Crew List - Personal details > General you can set some default format for all the Names in the database, by using Mask.
e.g. you can display the name like this John Marshall Erickson Jr.:
- John Marshall Erickson Jr. (separated with spaces only )
- John Marshall, Erickson (without Jr. and with comma before the Last Name)
- John Erickson (without the middle name and Jr.) etc.
All you need to do is enable "use mask on name input" option and define the Mask according to your needs.
All the Names in the database will be updated according to this Mask. In this screen you can see all the available Mask elements/separators that you can use.
