Introduction

Traficom Export is a plugin that allows exporting the count of Finnish seafearers' sailing days in the date range to Trafi.

The plugin considers only seafearers with the Finnish nationality and PERSONALIDNO is not null.

Functionality

The section will teach you how to set the date range in which you want to find data as well as export the count of Finnish seafearers' sailing days in the defined date range.


Get Started

To access the plugin, log into APM and follow the steps below:

  1. Switch to the Tools ribbon tab and click the Export button:

  2. From the drop-down list, select Traficom Export. The Traficom Export main screen then appears:

     

     

Export Data

On accessing the plugin, you can now proceed with the following steps:

  1. Define the date range to be covered. On the toolbar, pick the Date From and Date To dates. This shows a list of seafarers:

  2. In the list, select the records to be exported and click Send To Trafi. In the Confirm dialog, click Yes to proceed to data export:

  3. You can see the data export in progress. When completed, click Close to exit the dialog.

  4. Switch to the Sdir’s Seafeares tab on the workspace and click the Load Sdir button on the toolbar. On clicking, you will see the seaservice activities being loaded:

Assigned UUID means that the transaction has already been transferred to SDIR.

When completed, click Close to exit the dialog.

As a result, you can see the records exported to Sdir:

The plugin considers only the seafearers with the norwegian nationality and PERSONALIDNO is not null.

Download and Installation

To install the plugin, navigate to Install APM Plugin and follow the step-by-step instructions carefully.

Connection Settings Configuration

To configure the Traficom Export connection settings, navigate to the Tools ribbon tab and click the Export button. From the drop-down list, select Traficom Export. This opens the following dialog:

Within the dialog, click the Settings button to view the dialog:

Within the dialog, fill in the fields below to configure the settings.

Communication settings:

  • API BaseAddress is a plugin name defined in NMA Code Setup.

  • Organization ID is a unique Norwegian company number.

  • System ID

  • Certificate Path

  • Certificate Password

  • Enable dry-run mode (The changes will be not committed)

 

Now, switch to the Connection tab to view the connection settings:

Below you can find the description of all the connection settings required for the NMA Sdir plugin.

API Access. To get the base address of Web API, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to https://sdir-t-apim-common.developer.azure-api.net/signin?returnUrl=/ and enter your credentials to access the website.

  2. On the website, click Explore APIs and search for APS Seagoing External.

  3. On the APS Seagoing External page, copy the post request and paste it into the API BaseAddress field.
