Adonis LMS Integration (Moodle)
This article explains everything you need to know about the integration with the Adonis Learning Management System.
Introduction
In Adonis, we have an integration with the Adonis Learning Management System.
In this guide, you will get to know what are the steps involved in the configuration of Adonis LMS, how we can move from the APP dashboard to Adonis LMS and user interaction with Adonis LMS.

Introduction
It is the most popular and most used learning management system because it is a flexible, open-source, and user-friendly e-learning platform. It is used by organizations of all shapes and sizes outside of the education community. It is used by businesses, corporations, and online learning, and in some cases, it is used in extended business processes. Steps were taken to configure and manage Moodle.
Getting Started with Adonis LMS
Log in to the Crew Portal
To access the Crew Portal, you need to
Be Employed
Have valid Login credentials
Use your PIN and Password as login credentials
For instance, 13245, ******
Click Login
After the successful login, you can start working with the system.
Main Menu
Once logged into the dashboard, you will see different modules available to users in accordance with the rights granted by an administrator to access all the modules and features available in the Adonis Personal Portal web interface. You can also click on the main menu button on the toolbar:
You will also see the Adonis LMS tile in this dashboard.
When a user selects the Adonis LMS tile, it will automatically redirect to the Adonis LMS platform without requiring login credentials again. The LMS will open in a new tab. The image below illustrates the various sections of the Adonis LMS interface.
You can also navigate to your dashboard by selecting the previous tab(tab 1) and continuing working with Adonis LMS (tab 2).
Logging out of Adonis LMS will not affect the APP dashboard; you can continue using the other modules available on the dashboard.

Install the Plugin
Install the plugin using this link https://github.com/catalyst/moodle-auth_userkey
Select the site administration option from the left-hand tab
Select the plugin tab from the header
Then select the install plugins option as shown in the pic below.
You can also upload the zip file and install the Moodle plug-in
In the plugin settings, map the field according to the requirement
Set other settings according to your needs
Click Save Changes
Adonis LMS Configuration
The general settings allow you to control some of the most basic configuration settings for the APP application.
To access the settings, use one of the tips below:
On the workspace, navigate to Configurations -> General Settings.
On the main menu, select Configuration -> General.
The Moodle URL and API token must be placed in the configuration setting under the Adonis LMS tab. To do this, first switch to the Adonis LMS tab in the General Settings window:
Adonis LMS Global Options
The global options are shown in the Administration Portal of the APP
APP → Configuration → Adonis LMS
There are two fields present in the global options
Adonis LMS URL
Adonis LMS API Token and
The first field shows the Adonis LMS URL where the Moodle VM is running
The second field shows the API token that authenticates the user, and the third field shows the Adonis LMS authentication type, UserName (we mapp PIN from APP as a username in the Adonis LMS authentication type). After filling in all the fields, you can test the link by clicking on the test button, which will link you to the Adonis LMS front page.
Manage and generate a token
This token will be used while configuring the Adonis LMS in the APP. First, you have to click on the step 1 site administration, then move to the step 2 server, and there you will find the managed token under web services. So, in this way, you can generate your token.
After selecting the managed token, you will move to the next tab, where you can create the token
Keep in mind that you have to select the User Key authentication web service in the service field and then click on the Save Changes to create a token.
Manage the Protocols
To use this plugin, enable the REST protocol in the web services tab under site administration, then click Save Changes.
