Resetting a Password (Administrator on behalf of a User)


This article outlines how the LMS administrator can reset a password for a user.


How to

To reset the User password from the Admin account:

1. Click Manage > Users.


2. Locate the User - To facilitate this, type in at least part of the User’s First Name, Last Name, User name or their Organization login ID in the field at the top and click Filter. Once the User has been located, click on the pencil icon to Edit the User.


3. In the Password and Confirm Password fields, type in a new password that you will provide directly to the User. Once the User has logged in, you may want to suggest that they change their password.

NOTE: The permission to reset passwords can be granted to users within your organization based on their profile fields - e.g. users who have a particular Position in the company. If you would like to set this up, please get in touch with support@marinels.com with your requirements.
