Project Review
It is always important to review key project reminders. These are the most critical aspects of the Project and remind everybody of what was agreed upon. The review of these core aspects of the Project will ensure that everyone is on the same page when challenges arise.
Project Update
When giving the project update, Adonis suggests conveying all the necessary information by using the "Stoplight System." This keeps the project updates short and to the point while still providing all the information required.
The "Stoplight System" means that we associate a stoplight color with each deliverable or issue to indicate the progress on that aspect of the project. Here is the list of the stoplight symbols and what they mean:
- Green: Everything is on track
- Yellow: This gives the steering committee a heads up that there is a potential risk, but the project team is working on it. It's essential to inform how it is being resolved, but the yellow stoplight is just a heads up that assistance might be required if all still doesn't go according to plan.
- Red: The color red symbolizes an issue where the Project will need the help of the steering committee.
