Description

This course suits participant who will be administrators of the Payroll module and has gone through the APM - Payroll Administrator Training 1 course.

Objectives

  • Get a basic understanding of the Entry Code table and setup

  • Know how to create new, copy, and maintain entry codes

  • Know how to link an entry code to a GL Account

  • Know how to decide what information is shown on the pay slipspayslips

  • Know how to link entry codes to common payment receivers

  • Know how to set up, and maintain Accumulators and how to link to entry codes

  • Know how to create new, copy, and maintain pay scale tables and codes

  • Get a basic understanding of options available on pay scale tables

  • Know how to use formulas in pay scale tables

  • Know how to linked link pay scale codes to ranks for checking of position on activity vs. pay scale

  • Know how to set up automatic pay scale assignment per position

  • Know how to set up and link a pay scale to a calendar for enabling holiday payments

  • Know how pay scale tables must be maintain to be able to use the backpay functionality

  • Know how to use the Update Payroll History function

  • Know how to use the Rebuild Accumulators function
