To ensure the interaction between APM and C Teleport is smooth and efficient, cover the workflow of a one-time setup. The setup is required to handle flight bookings based on your specific needs.
Communication Setup
To get started, you must establish a connection with the C Teleport server. To do this, navigate to the Setup ribbon tab > Global Options > Datagroups > Travel Interface:
Within the dialog, first, select Fly2C from the Interface drop-down list. On selecting, the configuration settings to be set up for the Fly2C interface become available to you.
In the Booking section, you can access the details required to get connected to the C Teleport service. Most of the details are provided by C Teleport:
Search Url is an URL to the C Teleport server
Refresh Url
User Name is your username in the Fly2C interface
Password is your password in the Fly2C interface
API Key is an application ID number in the C Teleport system
Select Debug mode and specify the path to the folder where you want to store all the booking request and response files.
Airport Type Setup
You need to set the airport codes and names. For this, follow the steps below:
Go to the Setup ribbon tab and click the General Codes button.
On the Structure pane, click the Travel code category to expand it and select Airport.
Click the New button in the Actions group of the Manage ribbon tab. The General Code Editor (Airport) dialog appears:
Enter a Code (mandatory field), a unique alphanumeric APM code.
In the Text field, identify the full name of the code and its alternative name, if needed, in the Alternative field.
In the Sort field, define the order of airport codes in the list (where 0 means the first record in the list).
In the Is Passive field, specify whether the port code is to be active or passive. Passive codes appear unavailable.
In the Options section, define the airport-related information:
Airport Type (international, domestic, etc.)
City Code associated with the airport location
Country where the airport is located
Latitude and Longitude coordinates of the airport
Click OK to save the records.
As a result, a new airport type appears in the airport list.
Airlines Setup
You need to set supported airlines. For this, follow the steps below:
Go to the Setup ribbon tab and click the General Codes button.
On the Structure pane, click the Travel code category to expand it and select Airlines.
Click the New button in the Actions group of the Manage ribbon tab. The General Code Editor (Airlines) dialog appears:
Enter a Code (mandatory field), a unique alphanumeric APM code.
In the Text field, identify the full name of the code and its alternative name, if needed, in the Alternative field.
In the Sort field, define the order of airport codes in the list (where 0 means the first record in the list).
In the Is Passive field, specify whether the port code is to be active or passive. Passive codes appear unavailable.
In the Options section, define the country which the airline belongs to.
Click OK to save the records.
As a result, a new airline type appears in the airlines list.
Travel Costs Setup
For each booking, it is possible to register the expenses that occur. For this, follow the steps below:
Go to the Setup ribbon tab and click the General Codes button.
On the Structure pane, click the Travel code category to expand it and select Costs.
Click the New button in the Actions group of the Manage ribbon tab. The General Code Editor (Costs) dialog appears:
Enter a Code (mandatory field), a unique alphanumeric APM code.
In the Text field, identify the full name of the code and its alternative name, if needed, in the Alternative field.
In the Sort field, define the order of airport codes in the list (where 0 means the first record in the list).
In the Is Passive field, specify whether the port code is to be active or passive. Passive codes appear unavailable.
In the Options section, define the expense type:
Accomodation
Transportation
Click OK to save the records.
As a result, a new cost type appears in the costs list.
