This article explains how to copy vessel structure from an existing vessel to a new one.

Introduction

Under the Organization Structure, we have an organization tree with companies, vessels, departments, and positions beneath each department.

When you create a new vessel it might have the same/similar structure as the existing vessel: departments, positions.

In this article, we will learn how to copy vessel structure from an existing vessel to a new one.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Setup > Organization Structure.

  2. Select the vessel from which you want to copy the structure (departments/positions).

  3. Click Copy > Structure To and select the new vessel as a target.
    You can do it either from the ribbon menu.

    Or by right-clicking on the selected unit.

  4. The structure is successfully copied.
