Payroll icon is not available

This article describes the steps to take if you can't locate the Payroll icon on the menu.

Problem

I am not able to locate the Payroll module icon. 

Cause

Payroll will only be available if: 

  1. It is included in your license and license file

  2. If you have been granted access to the Adonis Control Centre

  3. If the client you have open has payroll enabled

Solution

If your license and access are in the order you should select Open Client and select a company where payroll is enabled: 

To see which clients have payroll enabled you can turn on the following user option: 

Go to User Options

Turn ON the option for "Display payroll period on open client"
