This describes how to configure the crew portal when using a single server on shore that is accessed by onboard users.

Contents

Introduction

The crew portal needs a vessel to identify the site. The site identification is based on a person's current service activity. The crew portal uses the Vessel A configuration if a person is active onboard vessel A.
In the configuration below, you can identify vessels with access to the crew portal. Crew members with an activity not part of the selected vessels will not have access to the system. The same counts when the person signs-of the access rights will be revoked until he actually signons again.

Configuration

On the ONSHORE LOGIN tab, select the organization units (vessels) you want to be considered along with the current vessel when accessing Adonis Crew Portal.

This functionality allows a single login for all crew members who have an active sea service-activity and assigned to different organization units (vessels) selected on the ONSHORE LOGIN tab. The organization unit name is stated in the Vessel Name column:

The Access Control > Users page displays only crew members currently onboard (those who have the Current activity).
