Description

This course suits participant who will be administrator of the Time Card module that is used onboard for entering payroll variables.

Objectives

  • Get a basic understanding of what the Time Card module is used for

  • Understand Global Options affecting the Time Card module

  • Understand Organization settings affecting the Time Card module

  • Understand settings on activity level affecting the Time Card module

  • Know how to add Time Card periods

  • Know how to add and maintain Time Card Worktypes in General Codes

  • Know how Worktypes are linked to Entry Codes

  • Know how to define Projects, Vessel Locations, Vessel Cost Groups, Person Cost Places, and Person Cost Groups and how they can be used in the module

  • Know how to filter away items for Work Type, Person Cost Group, and Person Cost Place on pay scale levels

Prerequisites

We recommend undergoing the Basic Introduction, Basic Training and Payroll training courses, however this is not a requirement.
