Activating SMS sending

It is possible to activate SMS sending from the Adonis Personnel Manager and send SMS to persons that have a mobile phone number registered in the contact section in Personal Details.

Contact your Adonis Account Manager to activate SMS sending, by sending a request to Support@adonis.no

Your Account Manager will return with a quote, and if accepted will enroll you with the Adonis SMS provider.

When you receive the enrollment letter, you can continue with the steps below to configure SMS sending.

Configure SMS

In order to enable the possibility to send SMS messages, you need to perform the following steps.

1. Go to the Setup ribbon tab > Global options 

2. In the General tab, input the following information in the SMS Broker group which you receive in your Enrollment letter after registration:

   • SMS Gateway
     https://portal.adonishr.com/SMS/SMSGatewayService.asmx/SendSMSMessage

   • Login

   • Password

   • Click the Test URL button to verify whether the specified URL is valid.

   • In the Displayed Sender field, specify a sender's name that will be shown as a sender for an SMS recipient.

   • Click OK to confirm the changes.

3. Make sure the access rights to the 703 Send SMS routine in Adonis Control Centre, are granted to users that should have this functionality.
