This article describes the service and responsibilities Adonis and the Customer have when requesting a new entry code

The Entry Codes are used for payroll purposes. The full manual can be found here.

The script of the Entry Codes is based on a simple programming language that is added to the script file for each individual code.

Customer Benefits

Using individual entry codes, instead of one entry code containing different amounts, have the main benefits of

• Can be linked up to individual GL accounts

• Easy to extract amount per entry code and person in reports

• Can differentiate what entry codes are to be included in example governmental reports

• Each entry code can have specific names making it clear for the employee on their payslip, what the amount relates to

Service

Adonis Responsibilities

As part of the delivery of an Entry Code, the following tasks are included: 

1. Specification of the Entry Code behavior together with the customer

2. Creation of the Script for the Entry Code

3. Testing of the Entry Code

4. Documentation of how the Entry Code is to work

5. Documentation of how the Entry Code must be added to the system

Customer Responsibilities

1. Assisting with the specification of the Entry Code, including but not limited to

   1. Name of the Entry Code

   2. The calculation behavior of the Entry Code

   3. The GL Accounts the entry code should be linked towards

   4. Defining any accumulators the Entry Code should be included in

   5. Defining how the Entry Code should be displayed on the payslip

   6. Defining and verifying the correct settings for any governmental reporting

2. Creating the new entry code and creating it in the Production database together with the Adonis Consultant

3. Final testing of the Entry Code

4. Maintenance of the Entry Code
