Positions Handling in Rotation Tree

It is also possible to maintain positions in your rotation plan by right-click on the tree area:
Refresh Position Row
It is used for situations when some overlapped shifts for one position look squeezed on the gantt diagram. Performing this command will help you to display all shifts as they should.
Adding Positions
You can add a position manually after plan activation.
Fill in all the necessary information (select position, define rotation, add shifts, set for what period shifts need to be pasted):
Rotations and shifts are available according to given definition - see Shifts Definition section.
You will see a warning message how many shifts are added. If it is enough for you, click Yes > Apply.
The newly added position will be placed in the tree & will have a different icon to be distinguished:

The same functionality is available under Manage menu > Position:
Note that it is not possible to add shifts and positions to a rotation plan, when this plan is opened By Filter > By Vessel/Rank.
Delete Positions
It is possible to delete only positions that are:
added on the maintenance phase (after plan activation);
linked to not-assigned (empty) shift.
Warning message is shown if the user tries to delete the position that does not fulfill the mentioned rules.
Besides, if there is a position with empty shifts only, it is possible to delete all shifts for that position, and after that it will be removed from the rotation tree.
The same functionality is available under Manage menu > Position:
Move Positions (rarely used)
Option that enables you to move a position with empty/linked shifts to any of existing activated plans.
For this purpose, please tag the correct position(s) & select one of available plans from Target RP list:
Click Move positions button.
Adding Shifts
It is possible to add shifts to any position for a certain period.
Please right-click needed position and select Add Shift(s):
Please define the shifts to be added and the period.
The Delay field is to define the delay that will take place after the Date From that is selected.
The same functionality is available under Manage menu > Position/Shift/Multiple Shifts:
